Vote for Me!

I've just been nominated in two different categories for the Edublog Awards!

The first category is best student blog. In that category, you have to be a student to win. Here is a link to vote for me: Vote for me!

The second category is most influential blog post. I'm up for that category because of my post: Ten Things I've Learned from Blogging.

Here is how to vote:

  1. Where it asks you which category you would like to vote in, press on either of the categories.
  2. Next, scroll down to where it says my blog's name or my post, depending on which one you're voting for.
  3. Then, press vote at the bottom.
You can only vote once per category per day per IP address.

Edublog Awards Nominations

It's time for me to announce who I will be nominating for the 2012 Edublog Awards! Last year, I won best student blog!

For best student blog, I nominate GBM Corner by Mark. He deserves to win very much. Mark started his blog late last year, so that he did not have enough time to show how great of a blogger he is by the time of the awards. He has been writing great reviews on games, books, and movies ever since he started his blog. That is why I nominate GBM Corner for best student blog!

For best class blog, I nominate Mrs. Yollis' Classroom Blog. I was in Mrs. Yollis' class in 3rd grade. She made it so that I really liked getting up every morning and going to school. That was because of her blog. If it wasn't for her amazing blogging and teaching skills, I wouldn't be sitting here, doing this post right now! She is the best blogger ever in my opinion. Also, she teaches her students all that she can about blogging. That is why I nominate Mrs. Yollis' Classroom Blog for best class blog!

Winner: Edublog Awards 2011

Today, the Edublog Awards were on! I was waiting only for 10-20 minutes until my category was up. My category was Best Student Blog. I got 610 votes. That was the second most in any category! I was so happy when I heard that I won. Here is my acceptance speech:

Hello! This is Jaden from Jaden's Awesome Blog. Congratulations to all of the other nominees! First, I would like to thank my former teacher, Mrs. Yollis. If it wasn't for her I would've never started a blog. Next, I would like to thank my friends, family, and everyone else who voted for me. I couldn't of done it without you guys! Thank you so much!

I hope you liked my speech! It was amazing to win Best Student Blog! Here is a badge I put on my sidebar:
